Summer Fair 2016

Thank you to everyone who came and supported our Summer Fair today. We had a great turnout with a pizza making stall, home made cakes, pies donated from a local butchers and food from the Punjabi Junction in the kitchen and lots of games, the bouncy castle, jumble sale and silent auction in the PE hall.

Outside, we were very lucky to have the local fire engine and also soak the teacher. This went down particularly well – for the children, anyway!!

A huge thank you to the restaurants and local businesses who kindly donated to our raffles.

Sport Relief Fundraiser

Everyone took part in activities on Thursday 17th March from walking round the track at Meadowbank or following the course set out in the school playground to raise funds for Sport Relief.  So far the total from Lorne is a massive £793.77! A truly fantastic effort.  Well done to all involved.

Red Nose Day

The upper school gathered at Meadowbank Stadium to participate in a multi-school sponsored walk to raise funds for Comic Relief. The P1s to P3 had a sponsored scoot, skate and cycle in the playground. In total we raised over £1,000. This was an unbelievable total – a big thank you for all who took part.
